Banning Cigarettes

Should cigarettes smoking be banned in America? Cigarette smoking has been introduced to America  in 1865 and ever since, it has been one of the most alternative substances on earth. Cigarettes has gained an important role in helping people cope with stress. Although using cigarettes as a good deed there are negative cons towards smoking them. There are several people suggest that we ban them. There are many issues dealing with cigarettes that we are facing in America that are getting greater and greater each year.
Cigarettes are toxic and I agree that we should ban cigarettes from America. There are many reasons why we should ban cigarettes. One reason is that smoking cigarettes destroys your respiratory system. For example I have several relatives that smoke due to there smoking they've attracted asthma. Cigarettes have many deadly chemicals such as arsenic (rat poisoning), carbon monoxide, and lead. Cigarettes won't just have a negative impact on your life but also people whom your are close to such as you relatives due to second hand smoke. Did you know cigarette smoking causes about 480,000 deaths in the U.S per year.
Many might say that cigarette smoking shouldn't be banned in the U.S. Banning cigarettes won't just help the people smoking them but help us as a country to become strong and healthy.http://therealcost.betobaccofree.hhs.gov/facts/did-you-know/index.html?gclid=CjwKEAjw14mhBRC0vdSNkI2l7CASJAC8OFS0veac0T6_3pMs2JIoyG_L68zdZ7fXPJKpn4AEC2dnghoCNzzw_wcB

Learning From Immigrants

Picture being exiled from your own country to face extreme hardship and hostilities in your own government. We Americans have much to learn from diffrent cultures and ethnic groups that fight poverty, privation, and bitterness in their daily lives. Such as " The Lost boys of Sudan". All of them just at a younger age had to learn to endure the pain that was set upon them. For example leaving every thing behind them to get to a safe zone, which was a refugee camp. The only thing they had was memories of there reminiscent past. Many of them resettled and got educated in the United States I believe Americans can learn a thing or two from not just the Sudanian Imigrants but from all foreign ethnic groups.
Americans need to pay more attention to immigrants by not taking simple things, like education, for granted. For example I have many friends that came to America to escape the enmity between religions in there country. The friends that I have came to America for better chances at life, by getting there education. Some American abuse the opportunity of free education either by dropping out or simply just not attempting to learn. Why can't all Americans have the urge and ambition to learn just like our fellow American Imigrants? Just as Tony Blair said " a simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in and how many want out".
Many people might feel that we don't need to learn anything from Imigrants coming to America, but they are wrong. Learning from Imigrants can help us simply be better Americans just by learning about diffrent cultures.http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/06/world/africa/sudans-lost-boys-are-drawn-into-war-at-home.html?_r=2

Video Game Violence

One of  the most controversial topics is video game violence. Many people believe that excessive exposure to video game violence can actually change people's actions and behaviors. My personal opinion on the topic is, video games do not affect people's actions and behavior to a certain extint. My reasoning behind my opinion is,there are many mature people that have full control over there thoughts and feeling; which leads me to believe that they make there own decision to do violence without the help from video games. When expressing my opinion I said " to a certain extint " because there are people who are very impressionable ( such as children ) who might try to intimate the video games. Just because there may be a few people who are impressionable does not mean video games are the source of all violence.Did you know studies have found that playing video games trains people to make the right decisions faster without loss of accuracy.
