Globalize Language

There are a roughly outstanding 6,500 spoken languages in the world today. That of which doesn't have as much importance than the English language. The English language is important for an abundant of reasons. Two reasons is because the English language is good for business and political issues. Also English is the language of the media industry and the Internet. These are all some significant reasons why English should become the global language.

English is the official language of 53 countries and is spoken as a first language by around 400 million people. By that being said English is the language of business and commerce. The English language is what " makes the world go around" because of the financial benefits you get from knowing the language. As a nation it would get you many trade partners and you would have many economic development opportunities. English isn't just only great for business but it makes you not rely on translations and subtitles to enjoy plenty books, songs, films, and TV shows. As we all know the world is getting more Americanized as the years go by that's why knowing English is important to understand the media industry. English is the official language of the Internet which is a global source and we use the Internet to be connected to people. So in many ways understanding English is good to explore people's cultures and the different ethnic diversities in the world.

Speaking English matters because of the numerous benefits one has just for understanding it, those benefits include helping you financially and socially. With that understood those are the reasons why the English language should be the global language. 

Creed Poem

I believe in Jesus being our our savior.

Oppression ( Jimmy Santiago Baca)

Jimmy Santiago Baca is an accomplished Latin American poet who wrote appealing poems about his experiences in the Arizona state prison. One eye-opening poem that caught my attention is called " Oppression". I scrutinized the poem very carefully and it seems that the poem is about, how to endure the suffering and adversity of living caged behind bars. Baca began to use descriptive word choice when he says " unshed tears" because it took strength to keep the emotions bottled up inside from being in prison. When he uses metaphors like the feeling of "being trampled under" that gives the reader sentiment of empathy because it as well as shows  distress and difficulties of being imprisoned in the penitentiary. In the middle of the poem Baca began to change his attitude towards being locked away and he states that one should " look deep to find the grains of hope and strength". That symbolizes that its okay to be locked away and that one should be bold of the dangers and horridness that lurk in the walls of the jailhouse. Lastly at the end of the poem Baca articulates that " fiery spears will count your years "I feel like he's trying to insinuate that " you reap what you sow". So basically you do something wrong you get more jail time and that would be something to keep in mind. I as the reader have been given an abundance of advice from Baca because there have been times I felt like I was kept in a prison from society. In this poem Baca teaches not only prisoners but he also taught me how to overcome suffering and adversity by staying strong and being bold. Above all I feel that Baca's intended meaning is to help us subdue the fears and the sorrows of being caged in our own physical and mental prisons.

Human Needs Exam

The astonishing results I've gotten back from the human needs test was that I really need contribution, growth, and love-connection. These results are true because they are essential to who I am as a person  and how I feel about other people. The results are exceedingly  correct because when it comes to contributing I would always give more and receive less. I as well as share a deep abundance of love-connection with people I care about like my mother, sister, and niece. Growth is a greatly significant factor for me because without it I wouldn't ever learn from anything. Apart of growing up is the learning of your surroundings and who you are and what makes you, you.

My humans needs test drove me to read books like Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children, The   Graveyard Book,The Extra, and almost the whole sequel to Once. For example in the Graveyard Book these ghostly entities named Mr. and Mrs. Owens showed a great deal of love-connection with this boy named Nobody. In the whole sequel of Once I got to scrutinize how two of the main characters Felix and Zelda grew through the harsh,dreadful world war that plagued there innocent hearts. Knowing those crucial result that I got from the human need test gave me a even better understanding of the books that I should pick out and read. Since my most top needs is love-connection, growth, and contribution this arose the fact that maybe I should start reading more genres outside of what I normally read like romance and biographical novels. Therefore pushing myself to experience a wide range of books causing me to grow and become additionally more intelligent.

The protagonists in my book club book showed plenty of the factors off of the human needs test. For example in my book Sarah's Key one of the main characters Sarah has a love- connection with her brother, she longs for her brothers comfort and safety. On another occasion Sarah's mother demonstrates growth because in the beginning she is bold and beautiful and flamboyant but she becomes fearful and mute. Sarah's father contributed strength and protection during the harsh times at the Vel' D'Hiv' from those impudent French officers. Many of the the protagonists in my book club book demonstrated outstanding love-connection,growth, and contribution.

In conclusion the humans needs test is helping me improve my reading life and my personal life as well.  I have learned a plentitude of things about myself and the characters in my book from taking the humans needs test.

The End of Days

There have been stories past down, prophecies foretelling the end of days. Is the world truly going to end in anarchy, destruction, and utter obliteration? People grow suspicious and wary of all the conspiracy theories that plagues our gullible ignorant minds and I am here to put those false conspiracies to rest. There is an abundance of mind boggling reasons that lead me to know that the world isn't going to end.

One reason is that there is always some conspiracy theory stating that the end is upon us. For example such as the 2012 world ending doomsday scenario with the Mayans. Or either more recently the Ebola virus outbreak, having people frighten and making them think that it seem quite reasonable that the final days are near. My point is that there have been so many world ending scenarios that it should seem quite inadequate  to think that there would be some apocalyptic catastrophe. Some may believe these unreal ideas depicting the world ending but I say that they are just hindering you life style because you become so focused on it, that you forget the important problems in you life.

People need to wake up an understand that the world isn't going to end in complete decimation and chaos. If conspiracy theorist stopped making ideas of the world ending then there would be less panic in the world. After all if the world was really going to end then it would have ended years ago.

Doppelgängers, are they real?

Do you believe in werewolves, vampires, Bigfoot, or even stranger, doppelgängers? A doppelgänger, in German meaning " double walker " is a ghostly counterpart of a living person. Doppelgängers are said to be in two separate locations at the very same time. Are doppelgängers real and are they living among us? I believe that these supernatural beings exist under plenty of evidence. There have been many mind blowing encounters of people witnessing there own phony coexistent twin.

For example, Abraham Lincoln once glanced in a mirror and saw his own visage except he had two faces. On another occasion Queen Elizabeth I of England ( who reigned from 1558-1603) saw the spectral Elizabeth lying on her bed motionless. Catherine the Great  observed her doppelgänger attempt to take over her throne. SHOCKING! isn't it. Are these strange encounters being misunderstood or is it something much more than these abnormal coincidences. I myself have an extreme passion for mysterious and unexplained appearances. Are these encounters with ghostly phenomenal figures a common occurence or a figment of someone's imagination? Some may say that these spectral beings are not real, but I disagree with them.

So are these doppelgängers fact or fiction? Based on the evidence I have reasearched,  I strongly believe they are in fact real, and there are indeed doppelgängers leaving among us.

Ebola

Should Americans be concerned with the Ebola virus? Did you know that E.V.D or Ebola has been around for more than thirty years so that means there is an abundant of knowledge to be gained from studying the past outbreaks. Knowledge that America could use to stabilize and drawback the nonfatal virus. There are a plentitude of reasons why Americans shouldn't be worried about the not so dangerously, non lethal disease.

One reason is that America has outstanding healthcare and has invested a lot in our health benefits. American is a highly developed country and is alway ready for daunting and unwilling task. For example when the few ebola patients came back to America they were treated right away with extreme caution and even a few survived under Americas intense care. We Americans are very fond of our healthcare and we should have plenty of confidence in taking care of this Ebola issue. The real questions that should be at hand are, when will we find the vaccine or how could we annihilate this disease from this planet?

Another reason why america shouldn't be concerned is that Ebola is not as significant as the other disease that plagued american once before or that still is. There are many disease that are detrimental to one health that are way more infectious than Ebola such as Swine-flu, West Nile virus, HIV/AIDS, and Influenza. Did you know that the outbreak of Influenza killed about 100 million as of the Ebola virus outbreak killing around 800 so I would say Ebola is not as contagious as other diseases. Some might say that we should be fully concerned about Ebola but I strongly disagree with them under many circumstances.

So Instead of be so concerned with Ebola we should challenge our selfs to see how fast we could come up with a vaccine under our great healthcare but it shouldn't be top priority. There are many other disease and generally other problems that we face that we need to deal with first before they get out of hand.
